About:
I am a designer & illustrator living in the Midwest and have been operating as a one-man design studio full-time for the past 2 years. I studied traditional printmaking in college and really got into design post-graduation through my career explorations with textile screen printing, gig posters, apparel design and illustration. I love the variety of projects that come through the door every week, the process of taking each project from start to finish and talking to business owners/entrepreneurs who are incredibly passionate about what they do - that’s the real cherry on top. I'm excited to work with people who love what they do and are carving their own path in the world. A lot of inspiration comes from a healthy dose of caffeine, a good record, digging through piles of treasure at the flea market, passing through old towns - noticing original storefronts & sign paintings, riding my bike in nature or the city and catching up with friends over a few good beers.

How did you keep busy with time on your hands at home?
It’s been a strange time, but I feel fortunate to have kept busy with new. One in particular that’s been exciting to see come full circle was the branding, environmental, mural, apparel & merch design I did for @glosswash in Boulder, CO. It is an old-school car wash with full-service detailing and top-notch customer service. Soon they’ll have an espresso bar with a patio and a shop inside the building as well - so you can sip your coffee, watch your car go through the wash tunnel and shop the goods. Also, in the works, are a few branding/apparel projects with local breweries and an outdoor camp brand. Outside of client projects, I have been working on new concepts for a series of abstract screen prints, dabbling in metal engraving on some liquor flasks I found, riding my bike as much as I can and taking hikes with my partner and the dogs. Hope everyone out there is staying safe, healthy and taking time away from your screens for mental health.
