2012 The Year That Was

As another year rolls by we get a little older, wiser and fatter, with four flagship stores scattered around the world and an ever growing family. This time of year gives us a chance to reflect this little thing called Deus, created by a bunch of mates out of workshop in Sydney focused on building beautiful custom motorcycles. From there we turned to the foam to ply the same level of craft to hand-shaped surfboards, and are now expanding with a full blown menswear range to boot. LA – BARSTOW – VEGAS

THE GOOD: The simple criterion of the historical LA-Barstow-to-Vegas Dual Sport ride have remained the same for the past 29 years: Follow a charted route on dual sport motorcycles to Las Vegas, starting in Los Angeles, and staying over night in Barstow. 450 miles all up, divided into two days of trails, rocks, and road. The ultimate adventure. Simple in theory; difficult in execution. We got it into our heads to carry on the legacy of the legendary Terry Pratt, an icon of the motorcycle industry.
